MUADZAM SHAH SATELLITE CITY MODEL

On the 61-hectare land, which belongs to PSK at the Bandar Muadzam Shah junction of the Kuantan-Segamat Highway, 932 units of houses and 155 units of commercial buildings will be built with RM250 million of investment. With the completion of the project, pressing housing needs especially in Bandar Muadzam Shah will be addressed. This excludes meetings and informal discussions with various levels of the society which has been the daily schedule of the Menteri Besar all this while.

The Menteri Besar’s hectic schedule began with the officiation the Jalur Lebar Nasional Sdn Bhd (JALENAS) project, followed by the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop the Government Secretary Corporation’s (PSK) land in Pekan with paddy on 4th March.

On 6th March, he participated in the land-breaking ceremony for mixed development in Muadzam Shah, Rompin. Then, the Menteri Besar attended the event to strengthen the people’s unity in this country on 7th March which was a gathering of about 2,000 students in conjunction with the celebration of a decade of the Majlis Mahasiswa Anak Pahang (MAMPAN) at the Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya.

On 9th March, he attended a meeting with non-governmental organisations consisting of various races and religions; and on 15th March, he officiated the general meeting of a local fishermen association.
